Stage Electrics have supplied lighting and lighting control, power distribution and stage booms to the Central School of Ballet, complete with bespoke flight cases for their equipment, props, and wardrobe, ahead of their 2019 Ballet Central tour. The school has invested in an ETC Nomad Puck desk, 8 ETC Source 4 Fresnels and 8 ETC Source 4 Profiles, 28 Showtec Par 64s, 8 Doughty Tank Traps, and rigging.
“The client approached us with a need for new lighting. They have an upcoming 5-month touring show and require lighting fixtures that are reliable whilst being easy to transport and set up.” commented Jonty Gray, Stage Electrics’ sales team leader “Looking for tungsten Profiles and Fresnels we decided on ETC’s Source 4 due to their optical-quality lenses and reliability. For Parcans, the client settled on traditional Par 64s as an industry-standard fixture”.
“This was an exciting job for us” continued Jonty “We were able to support the client from choosing the right fixtures and equipment all the way to creating 12 bespoke flight cases, with Ballet Central’s logo engraved on them”.
Stage Electrics have made 12 bespoke flight cases for the client; all CNC rendered with their logo, these cases were specifically sized for the lighting fixtures and control they had purchased. “This sale demonstrates of our ability to support the client from the initial requirement, all the way through to final arrangements” stated Jonty.
