Stage Electrics knows first-hand some of the most important work goes on quietly behind the scenes. So, we’ve always taken great pride in sponsoring fantastic charities that help those in need.
We’re particularly committed to supporting local organisations. We do this by hosting regular fundraising events throughout the year. You can find out more about our staff's efforts on our social media channels.
This year we are proud to support:
We love having a Plan B ready to go, but we know that isn’t an option for our planet.
We hold many different accreditations but we’re particularly proud of our ISO certifications, which include ISO 14001.
That’s the international standard which specifies the requirements for an effective Environmental Management System (EMS). Our EMS system is designed to ensure that we play our part in protecting the environment, both on-site and at our offices.
We also have a host of green initiatives, including recycling bins throughout our offices, recycling skips in our yards for metals, plastics and wood. We encourage everyone to recycle responsibly.
We want to train, inspire and develop the next generation of technically minded staff. Learn more about our current vacancies.
We are committed to supporting our colleagues, their partners and families inside and outside of work. Our team and their immediate family have twenty-four hour access to our free Employee Assistance Programme, which offers confidential advice, support and counselling on a range of subjects both related and unrelated to work
As a supplier and distributor of industry leading audio and lighting brands, we are registered with the Environment Agency for WEEE waste in addition to our ISO 14001 accreditation for Environmental Management.
This means we are fully compliant with recycling regulations and meet all the Environment Agency standards for WEEE waste.
We are doing our bit to make sure electronic waste is handled correctly; as a responsible, environmentally conscious, company, if you buy your new electronic and electrical equipment from us we provide a free, on a like-for-like basis, take-back service on old equipment.
Unwanted equipment, originally purchased from us, should be returned to our Bristol location within 28 days of your invoice date of the new product.
We sell a huge number of batteries each year for use in conjunction with events, broadcast and performances and as a consequence we are registered with the Environment Agency as a battery producer.
As a battery producer and through our ISO 14001 accreditation for Environmental Management we take our responsibilities for recycling batteries seriously.
We can assist with recycling your batteries when they are returned to us and have the facilities to recycle small portable batteries when they are returned to us.
We do however reserve the right to refuse batteries that are not included in the scheme provided by our waste management partners.
Stage Electrics is committed to protecting the environment and works hard to minimise the impact we have on it.
While we encourage everyone to reduce & reuse, we put a lot of effort into recycling as much of our waste as possible and minimising what is sent to landfill. All our team are encouraged to sort and recycle the waste we produce.
As a result of these efforts in the last 12 months less than 1% of our waste was sent to landfill.
We work with trusted professional partners to recycle the widest possible range of materials. We recycle all of these materials throughout the year:
We are fully committed to improving performance, protecting the environment, and preventing pollution across all our business activities and encourage our business partners to join us in this effort.
