A Microdet refers to a small pyrotechnic device contained within a non-fragmenting plastic or cardboard casing. It's employed to replicate bullet impacts on surfaces like walls or the ground, commonly utilized in film and television productions.

Precautionary tests should be carried out beforehand to determine if the noise levels are appropriate.

It will generate some airborne particles.
